Good for medium sized rooms. Solid and well built. Traditional looking fan but with energy efficient DC motor. Very quiet operation. No strings to pull, full controlled with remote. Blades can be flipped for different style.

I recently purchased the VAGIZM 36'' Ceiling Fan for my small bedroom, and it has been an excellent addition! The modern design fits seamlessly with my decor, and the dimmable light provides just the right ambiance for any time of day.

Installation was pretty easy with all necessary mounting hardware required. A bit difficult to get all the wires and control stuffed up and in the holding bracket. Looks great with any decor and works awesome moving air.

Out of the box, I was delighted to see that the blades were ACTUAL wood and not just wood-painted plastic. The tops and edges of the blades are definitely painted though and the overall weight is on the light side. Of course, that also makes the fan slightly less efficient because the perfectly straight blades don't have the same amount of air flow as curved ones, like you'd see on an airplane propeller. Nevertheless, I think the aesthetic with the brushed nickel core is excellent, especially for a room that already has wooden furniture.

Unfortunately, the light isn't super bright despite having access to the entire brightness spectrum. It's great for something like a bedroom, dining room or office (like what I got it for), but it might be a tad dim for something like a living room or kitchen. Ditto with the amount of air it moves. Part of the reason is because of the design where the LEDs shine directly downwards instead of having them refract in all different directions. Still, the 4000K colour temperature is extremely comfortable and well balanced imo so it turned out to be perfect for my office.

Another thing I love about it is that it's QUIET, especially on the lower speeds. Of course, it's only a 36" fan so it's nowhere near the profile of a 72 incher, but the size makes it ideal for small rooms. Would've been nice if it came with 10 speeds like my other fans, but it's pretty much silent on the first 2. Not sure why, but there's something super comforting about watching wooden blades turn around a metallic core. Might be the aviation enthusiast in me I dunno.

As for the remote, I really wish it were black to fit with my office peripherals; but it functions just as well and would even fit with my wall colours should I ever decide to mount the holster. The button layout isn't ideal though. They should've put the directional reverser underneath the speed controls and not on the opposite side. Since I find myself using the light slightly more often, I would've preferred to have the brightness controls placed vertically and not horizontally. At least everything is on the top half of the remote which makes reaching for the buttons with my right thumb more convenient. Range on the transmitter is good too so I can control the fan from every corner of the room.

Finally, I think it's worth pointing out that the fan does hang down quite a bit lower than some of the other small <36" fans I've tested. After doing the wiring and mounting it to the ceiling (I recommend using a ladder and second pair of hands), I measured the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the light at just over 13". So it's not exactly high, nor low but somewhere in between. However, for a standard room with a height of ~96", that still means that I can reach up with my hand and have it strike the fan if I'm not careful. Already happened once - thankfully it wasn't on. I suppose it's par for the course though when it comes to any kind of ceiling fan; but just be aware that if you're planning on putting it in a room where people will be mostly standing, it might be a good idea to advise caution.

Otherwise, I'm very much a fan of the aesthetic. I was strongly debating between getting the brushed nickel + walnut 008 and the blackish "bronze + walnut 007", but I'm kinda glad I went with the former. Already had a colleague compliment me on it so that was nice. Definitely happy it doesn't have one of those old pull-chains on it. Those things were dreadful. But the amount of air is pushes on speeds 5 and 6 is great for its size and the core doesn't budge after I did the proper levelling. Pretty much exactly what I was hoping for so it's an easy 4.5/5 stars. Elegant stuff.
